Community Guidelines

Last updated October 19, 2026 · Version 1

Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE] | Version: 1.0

Jaypees works when customers and workers trust each other. These rules apply to everyone. They are part of the Terms of Service.

1. Be respectful and safe

  • Treat everyone with courtesy. No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or discrimination based on sex, gender identity, religion, ethnicity, disability, age, or other protected characteristics.
  • No sexual advances, inappropriate comments or unwanted contact.
  • Do not work or book while intoxicated or under illegal drugs.
  • No weapons, violence or threats of violence.
  • Workers: follow safe working practices and do not take on work you are not qualified or licensed to do.
  • Customers: provide a safe work environment. Tell the Worker about hazards. Be home or have a responsible adult present, and don't ask Workers to do unsafe tasks.

2. Be honest

  • Use your real identity. Do not impersonate others or create multiple accounts to avoid bans or verification.
  • Do not submit forged, altered or someone else's documents.
  • Describe your jobs and skills accurately.
  • Post only genuine ratings and reviews from real bookings. No paid, fake or retaliatory reviews. No review manipulation.

3. Keep payments on the Platform

  • Pay and get paid through Jaypees for bookings made on Jaypees. Do not ask or offer to pay by cash or direct transfer to avoid fees.
  • Off-platform payment removes dispute and refund protection.
  • Cash tips are fine if the customer chooses to give them. [CONFIRM tipping policy.]
  • No fraud: no chargeback abuse, false disputes, or fake bookings.

4. Protect privacy

  • Use another person's personal data (address, phone, photos, home layout) only for the booking.
  • Do not record, photograph or share people or private spaces without consent. [CONFIRM rule on photos of finished work.]
  • Do not share chat messages publicly to shame or doxx anyone.
  • Do not contact users outside the app for unrelated reasons or marketing.

5. Prohibited services and content

You may not offer, request or post:

  • Anything illegal under Philippine law, or services that require a licence you do not hold;
  • Adult or sexual services;
  • Anything involving minors in work that is not permitted by law (child labour);
  • Weapons, drugs, or hazardous materials handling without proper authorisation;
  • Content that is defamatory, obscene, infringes copyright, or contains malware or spam;
  • Services outside the supported categories without approval. [CONFIRM list.]

6. Respect the Platform

  • No hacking, scraping, reverse engineering or bypassing security or rate limits.
  • No use of the Platform to recruit users for other services.
  • Do not abuse OTP or create bulk accounts.

7. Reliability

  • Workers: arrive on time, communicate if delayed, and complete accepted jobs. Repeated no-shows and late cancellations affect your standing.
  • Customers: be available at the agreed time and pay for the agreed work through the Platform.

8. Reporting a problem

Use Report in the app on a booking, chat or profile, or email [SAFETY EMAIL]. In an emergency, call 911 first. We review reports promptly, keep the reporter's identity as private as practicable, and will not tolerate retaliation against reporters.

9. Enforcement

Depending on severity, history and risk, we may: issue a warning; remove content; limit features or visibility; hold payouts relating to the breach; suspend or permanently remove accounts; and report matters to the police or other authorities. We may act without notice for serious safety or fraud issues. You may appeal at [SUPPORT EMAIL] within [14] days. Reasoned decisions are given where practicable.

10. Changes

We may update the Guidelines as the community grows. The latest version is always on our website.

Drafting notes (remove before publishing)

  • Moderation staffing, response SLAs and an escalation path for serious incidents (assault, theft) should exist before launch. See docs/RISKS-AND-COMPLIANCE.md.
  • Consider Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) obligations and anti-discrimination considerations in Worker/Customer conduct rules; confirm with counsel.
