Safety & trust
Trust is our product.
Every part of Jaypees is designed so that you can let someone into your home — or earn a living — without worry.

Worker verification (KYC)
Nobody is listed until a member of our team has reviewed all of the following:
Primary government ID
A valid government-issued ID, such as a passport, driver's license, UMID, PhilSys, PRC or others on our list.
Secondary government ID
A second, different valid ID, so we can cross-check name and details.
Police clearance
A recent police clearance (issued within the last 6 months).
Resume or biodata
A one-page resume or the barangay biodata form.
Selfie
Required, so a reviewer can match the person to their documents.
Payments you can trust
Escrow through HitPay
Your payment is made through HitPay and held until the job is complete. The worker knows the money is there; you know it isn't released until you're satisfied.
Fair dispute resolution
If you and the worker disagree, our team reviews the booking details and chat, then decides to refund you or release payment to the worker.
Your privacy and data
Private storage
ID documents are never public. They're stored privately and only opened by authorized reviewers.
Every access is logged
When staff view a verification document, it's recorded in an audit log.
RA 10173 aware
We collect consent before KYC uploads and only gather what we need. See our Privacy Policy under Legal in the footer.
Tips for staying safe
- Keep chats and payments inside Jaypees so you're protected by escrow and dispute resolution.
- Never pay a worker in cash or by direct transfer outside the app for a booked job.
- Check that the worker has the Verified badge before the job starts.
- Report anything suspicious through our contact page. See the Community Guidelines.
