This policy explains how the Jaypees website at [WEBSITE DOMAIN] uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage). It should be read with our Privacy Notice. The mobile apps do not use browser cookies, but may use similar identifiers for the purposes described in the Privacy Notice.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences.
2. Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or decline analytics and marketing cookies. Declining is as easy as accepting, and the site works without them. Necessary cookies are always on because the site cannot work without them.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. We record your choice (with a random anonymous ID, not your name) so we can honour it and show we respected it.
3. Categories
Necessary (always active)
Needed for security, sign-in sessions, load balancing and remembering your cookie choice. Legal basis: legitimate interest / necessary to provide the service you request.
Analytics (only with your consent)
Help us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, errors, speed) so we can improve it. Data is aggregated; we configure IP anonymisation where available.
Marketing (only with your consent)
Used to measure campaigns and, if enabled, show relevant Jaypees ads on other sites. We do not use marketing cookies until you opt in.

5. Third parties
Analytics and marketing providers may process data outside the Philippines. See "Overseas processing" in the Privacy Notice. Their own policies apply to how they use data.
6. Do Not Track and browser controls
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
7. Changes
If we add new cookie categories or providers, we will update this list and ask for fresh consent where required.
8. Contact
Questions: our Data Protection Officer at [DPO EMAIL].
Drafting notes (remove before publishing)
- The DPA requires transparency and consent for non-essential processing of personal data; the Philippines has no standalone cookie statute, but NPC guidance on consent and transparency applies. Use opt-in for analytics and marketing, as the website banner does.
- Run a cookie scan before launch and update the table. Do not load analytics or ad scripts before consent.
